We are licensed by EPI to manufacture oxo-biodegradable plastic bag. Commodity polyethylene plastic products in today’s society have transformed our daily lives. Many of these products are single or few use plastic products that are discarded into landfills or unfortunately accumulating in the streets as litter after use. These plastic products can be made incorporating TDPA® technology to make them degradable and ultimately biodegradable in the presence of air (oxygen), moisture, microbes and soil. They are not toxic and do not leave harmful residues.
Many diverse plastic products have successfully incorporated EPI Environmental Products TDPA® additive technology in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. In all parts of the globe, national and international brands including private labels are using products based on this technology. Plastics incorporating TDPA® technology can be processed on conventional manufacturing equipment. These products are affordable and highly versatile as they have the ability to degrade, biodegrade and can be recycled before the onset of degradation.

Many products have already been successfully developed and are available using TDPA® technology. Products displaying the EPI Totally Degradable Plastic Additives daisy logo provide the consumer with an environmentally friendly, cost effective, alternative to traditional non-degradable plastic without compromising performance or characteristics until the triggering of the degradation process begins, whether it be the structural integrity required for food service cutlery or the stretch required for stretch wrap.
